Real Housewives of Nashville S2 E5 "A Tale of Two Ex Friends"

Although credited, Amie, Dior and Selenay won't appear on the episode. Only flashbacks of them will be shown. Athena's event starts hitting speedbumps, Brandi drops explosive news and Rayna tries to mend the rift between Brandi, Dior and Athena.

Athena confessional: I decided to throw a staycation for the ladies this weekend at my friend's home in the Hamptons to celebrate the launch for my new lipstick range and also Dior's perfume launch. 

*Athena is on the phone with her event planner James*

Athena: James! Hi Honey, is all the organizers ready for this weekend?

James: Yeah, we are almost done. We are just waiting for the last 2 sponsors.

Athena: Oh great [side eye] who's the late comers?

James: That would be the photographer who got covid so we had to get a new guy and Selenay who is sponsoring some of her wigs for the make a wish foundation we are also having.

Athena: That's fine, I will text her about it. Keep in touch with photographer if not let me know cause my daughter Lola's boyfriend is a professional photographer.

Athena Confessional: Well he shoots porn but my daughter swears she has never done it. I heard rumor's Amie has done one though.

James: Of course will update you in couple of hours. Did you invite all the ladies?

Athena: Yes I have invited Rayna and Selenay. I haven't called Ava yet. Amie won't be coming cause she has covid. Rayna is calling Brandi since she won't pick up my calls.

James: Alright, just make sure to hand me the list so we can get the dinner sorted for the launch.

Athena: Yeah will do! Thanks James!

Athena decides to call Ava first.

Athena to Magda: I hope I have her correct number. I remember saving the wrong one before.

Magda: Not the first time.

*Athena dials Ava's number*

Athena confessional : Ava doesn’t know me as well as Rayna so I was wondering maybe we can also be friends cause I know Brandi is still angry

Athena: Hey Ava!

Ava: Oh, hey Athena! This is an unexpected but nice surprise!

Athena: I decided to have a quick chat with you. I heard there was a lot of drama after we left the event?

Ava: Oh that's right you missed it, you should be glad you did though... Amie spat on me like a camel!

Athena: DURING COVID!?

Ava: Stupid right? Of course people are talking about it, that's Nashville for you...probably didn't help I threw a rock at her... then ended up hitting Brandi instead.

Athena: Why a rock? No wine left? *laughs*

Ava: Well I'm a fan of rock n roll music- I gave her the rock and was ready to roll the bitch!

Athena confessional : At least Ava is funny cause if she hit me with a rock I will probably run over with my limousine. Just ask my ex husband.. Hi Seth *waves*

Athena: Speaking of rock and roll, I decided to launch my own makeup line Lipstick in Hamptons' next weekend! But I heard you have covid so will you still be able to attend?

Ava: Oh that's exciting! I am feeling better even after camel mouth Amie infected me with her nasty diseases...and I should likely test negative by then so I wouldn't miss it! 

Ava confessional : I don't know Athena too well, other than her questionable choice in friends... *cough* Rayna *cough*... but she seems lovely and I'd love to support her launch. Strong independent women need to stick together after all.

Athena: That sounds good. I will text you the details and hopefully see u there. I need to go now. Rayna has invited me over to pack for the trip.

Ava: Wish I could be there for the 2 nights but glad I'm coming for the launch!

Athena: Sounds great, stay safe hun!

Rayna decides to call Brandi in behalf of Athena. 

Rayna dials Brandi's number

Rayna: Hey!

Brandi: Good thing you called, do you know how bored I was today? I came this close to actually cleaning the house and also I'm guessing you heard the news?

Rayna: Yeah congrats girl!! I'm so happy he popped the question!

Brandi: Aww thanks. 

Rayna: I'm actually calling in behalf of Athena.

Brandi: Ugh what does she want now?

Rayna: She wants a truce. She's inviting you to our staycation that she planned for us in the Hamptons.

Brandi: You know I love the Hamptons but 2 nights with her and Dior?! Really...

Rayna: Dior is coming late and it will be us, Athena and Selenay.

Brandi confessional: Glad I have Selenay at least. Hopefully, she's not up Rayna's ass. I can't do this if it's just Rayna and Athena cause they will back each other up. *Footage Part 2 of Season 1 reunion replays*

Brandi: Alright I guess, I will be coming. I have some other news for the ladies. I guess Dior will be happy.

Rayna: What is it?

Brandi: Promise you won't tell?

Rayna: Promise! 

Brandi: I'm 4 months pregnant and also about to move from Nashville to New York.

Rayna: First off, OMG! Congrats!! 

Rayna confessional: That explains the shotgun proposal.

Rayna: Your leaving us? We just got to know you.

Brandi: Matt wants to be closer to his family and I do too. We will be keeping my condo so I'll be back for vacations.

Rayna: That's good and I'm glad your getting the happy ending you wanted.

Brandi: Me too.

Brandi confessional: I'm glad Rayna is happy for me whether it's genuine or not we will see.

Rayna: So can I mention to Athena your coming?

Brandi: Alright and also I will want to talk to her one and one while we are there.

Rayna: What about Dior?

Brandi: Do I have to?

Rayna: Maybe just a short one since your going? 

Brandi: Fine.

Rayna: Okay will mention it to her. Thanks. Bye!

Brandi: Bye.

Suddenly, It was late on a Tuesday night when the power went out all over Nashville and filming had to stop for the day.. Next episode, the ladies will gather at Rayna's house where she has gotten a stretch bus and tensions run high between former besties Athena and Brandi with Rayna caught in the middle.
