Real Housewives of Nashville S2 E6 "Facing Demons and Mending fences"
With Rayna in the middle, Athena comes face to face with Brandi again. Will fireworks explode on the way to the Hamptons? Amie receives some grim news about her failing marriage. Although credited, Ava does not appear.
Rayna confessional: Today's the first day of our 3 nights in The Hamptons. I can't wait for some fun days outside of Nashville. I am little bit nervous because only Athena and Brandi will be joining me today to the Private Jet I booked two days ago. Does Athena really think we wanna travel in a bus for 14 hours?! No mam.
*Rayna calls Dior on Facetime*
Rayna: Oh shoot I forgot to remove Dior's husband's last name.
Dior picks up: Hey Girl!
Rayna: Hungover chic I see?
Dior: Yeah girl we had so much fun.
Dior Confessional: Last night was my really dear friend Bailey's wedding and Selenay happens to be a bridesmaid. We came down to Atlanta two days ago and we are becoming really good mates. I am optimistic that she will be a great addition to our crew.
Rayna: How beautiful did Bailey look last night? I am so bummed I wasn't there. I had to finish my recording for the new album.
Dior: She looked stunning as usual. I am also bummed you didn't come but I heard you managed to invite the rest for the trip?
Rayna: Yes, I have managed to get Brandi to come along today with me and Athena. Ava won't be coming until she gets another negative Covid test. Amie isn't invited.
Dior: Athena didn't invite Amie? I thought they were cool.
Rayna: You didn't hear about the spitfest at Gina's engagement?
Dior: Oh right that. I scolded her about it. I couldn't believe she did that. I think it has to do with her marriage on the rocks.
Rayna: Yeah I heard it on TMZ that they are separated now. She acted like it was all okay.
Dior: Well I did last year and I'm divorced now so.. facades in time wear off.
Rayna: It was good catching up with you. I will see you later in the evening with Selenay. Have y'all managed to get the flight's sorted?
Dior: We did thank god.
Rayna: Awesome! See you tonight! *hangs up*
Couple hours later, Rayna's seen outside with her 2 suitcases while Athena and Magda come over with Athena's 4 large ones.
Rayna: Athena it's 3 days and you need four LARGE ones?
Athena: Girl, I was so nervous packing and one of it has all my products in it!
Rayna: Yay a swag bag although you gave me some already haha.
Athena: Anything for you. Thanks Magda, see you when we get home.
Magda: Yes mam. Bye Ms. Rayna.
Rayna: Bye Magda, nice seeing you too.
*Rayna's Uber deluxe arrives to pick them up*
Athena: I thought Brandi is coming here?
Rayna: She had a wardrobe malfunction this morning so we are picking her up on the way.
Rayna Confessional: I couldn't mention morning sickness since no one but me knows about her being pregnant.
*Get's into the car*
Athena: I am nervous seeing her but I'm glad it's us three cause we did have great times before the whole fiasco.
Rayna: Please avoid mentioning that and anything negative. She's apprehensive and I want this weekend to go off great for your sake.
Athena: I will don't worry.
Rayna texts Brandi: We will be there in 10 minutes.
Brandi texts back: Okay, I just puked but I'm ready.
Brandi confessional: If Athena or Dior tries to argue with me today, I'll just target my morning sickness on them. *laughs*
*Car arrives at Brandi's apartment*
Athena confessional: Here we go. Hopefully she's in a good mood and we will be friends again.
*Brandi get's in*
Brandi: Hey girls.
Rayna: Hey. *fist bump*
Athena: *Waves*
Brandi: I'm excited for this weekend. Thanks for the invite Athena.
Athena: Your welcome. I will always include you.
Brandi: I was nervous about this because I assumed Dior was joining us now.
Rayna: Well she's in Atlanta with Selenay. They will arrive later in the evening.
Athena: Dior is in a good head space now and I am too. We want to make this a fun weekend so hopefully we all can have a good time.
Brandi: I want that too but I need to have this chat with you. I am fine with Rayna being her as long as your impartial.
Rayna: As much as I am Athena's friend, I am also yours. I will not butt into this if not needed.
Brandi: Thank you.
Athena: So I will first apologize about the Reunion. *footage of Part 2 is shown* We weren't talking at that time and the show was playing during it so I was in my emotions and I shouldn't have reacted that way or baited Rayna into this.
Brandi: I am glad your apologizing cause that really hurt me and it also gave me a bad impression of Rayna. I am also apologizing for revealing your secret *footage from Season 1 of Brandi mentioning Athena's drug past *I didn't know who to trust which is why I flipped out at Dior's party for my launch.
Rayna: The only thing I will say why I was involved was because of that. Dior did the party out of courtesy to the both of us and we didn't think that night would've ended so badly.
Brandi: Like I said, I was fed information by someone that worked with my fiancée but he was proven false when we looked back at the show.
Athena: Congrats on the engagement by the way. I was so excited when I saw your Instagram.
Brandi: Thanks. There is a reason why we got engaged this quickly.
Rayna *smirks*
Athena: What is it?
Brandi: I'm 4 months pregnant.
Athena: OMG Really!? Congrats again!
Brandi: Thank you. P.s Rayna knew hence the smirk.
Athena: YOU KNEW!?
Rayna: She swore me to secrecy.
Brandi: I'm proud of you. Glad we are back to being friends again Rayna.
Rayna: Same.
Athena: So we good now?
Brandi: We are good for now but I want to take this slow.
Athena: Of course. Baby steps *laughs*
Brandi: *Laughs*
Rayna confessional: Phew that went better than I expected. I am so proud of them.
*Car arrives at the Private Jet hangar*
Athena: Thanks for the private jet Rayna.
Rayna: Your welcome. I wasn't in the mood for a 14 hour bus ride.
Brandi: Neither was I. I was looking at flights this morning!
*All 3 get into the Private jet and it flies off to The Hamptons*
Meanwhile back in Nashville, Amie is seen walking into her therapist office.
Amie confessional: The news broke on TMZ regarding my situation and I just couldn't believe my husband would serve me divorce papers while I was at work. I am so heartbroken it came to this *cries into napkin*
*Amie sits down*
Julia [Therapist] : So what brings you here today?
Amie: My divorce hit TMZ. My ex served me papers at work and someone in my office decided to talk to the press.
Julia: I'm sorry. How were things before this?
Amie: Not good. We haven't spoken since a week ago and I am living with my dogs in my old apartment.
Julia: Was there a particular incident?
Amie: I was invited to an engagement by my new friends. I was thinking I will be good that day cause I wasn't drinking.
Julia: Was it a conscious decision not to drink before?
Amie: Yeah I was trying to filter myself. I did drink at the party and things went left. It started out as an argument between 2 of the ladies and somehow I was mentioned because I'm a childhood friend of this other lady's daughter.

Julia: How were you involved?
Amie: I was defending my friend's mom and this other girl wasn't liking it cause she thought we were friends but we just met that night. She was talking smack about her and I lost it.
Julia: How?
Amie: I spat on her while we were arguing outside waiting to go home. My ex saw this as he pulled up and we started arguing that night, I packed a bag to cool off at a motel. We started to drift apart more since the incident and here we are now.
Julia: How did it get to a divorce? An argument doesn't lead to on.
Amie: We also had a miscarriage this year. I didn't know I was pregnant and I was heavily drinking to numb the pain of my cousin's murder. I went to the doctor's office to find out I was pregnant but the baby had passed away due to my drinking.
Julia: Have you seeked out help with Alcoholics Anonymous?
Amie: Not yet, I am going over there after this and I am joining their treatment program.
Julia: That's a good first step. I want you to leave this session and I will personally take you there.
Amie: Thank you Julia.
Julia: Your welcome. Let's go
*They pick up their purses and leave to the rehab center. Amie won't be featured on the show during treatment.*
