Real Housewives of Nashville S2 E12 'Reunion!'

"The reunion kicks off with the Housewives gathering with Andy Cohen on ZOOM to discuss the past events that occurred during Season 2. They discuss Selenay's addition to the group, Gina's engagement..., the circumstances and difficulty filming during this pandemic, Athena being sober and forced to defend herself after last season's reunion, Dior and Brandi mending things while the women relive the tension from Season 1 and Andy brings up former wives Ava and Amie into discussion on why they didn't last"

REUNION STARTS.

Andy: Hey everyone and welcome to the Season 2 Reunion of Real Housewives of Nashville! Due to the pandemic and the rising cases in Nashville, production decided to film it via Zoom. All the ladies were suppose to gather together in Los Angeles with me for this. Let's welcome Rayna!

Rayna: Hey Andy! Nice seeing you again! Been awhile since we spoke! Sucks we can't be in LA together. I miss all of you!

Dior: Miss y'all too!!

Andy: Yeah, it's been a hot minute since you came over to my talk show with Athena! Up to my right, the beautiful birthday girl herself Dior! Happy belated Birthday!

Dior: Aww thank you Andy. Doesn't 50 look good on me?

Andy: Of course, you don't look a day over 40! Who can forget our bottom right confessional jokester, Athena!

Athena: *laughs* Hey Andy! 

Andy: Up next new mama of a 2 month old, Brandi!

Brandi: Hey Andy! So glad to be here. Hey girls!

Andy: I bet this reunion is much better than last time for you.

Brandi: 200% better.

Andy: Last but not least our only new housewife's who survived the baptism of fire, Selenay!

Selenay: One and the best Andy!

Andy: Speaking of newbies, Ava and Amie will not be joining this reunion. Ava is currently serving her prison sentence and she has sent out a statement claiming false allegations regarding the show. We wish her nothing but the worst. 

Athena: *cackles*

Selenay: Shade! 

Andy: Rayna, I bet you weren't shocked by her not appearing tonight and you previously have also mentioned to production about her law-breaking allegations. Were you shocked when she appeared?

Rayna: Honestly, No. Ava is a fame attention seeking wh**e. 

Brandi: Damn.

Rayna: It's true. She's been trying to get onto another D list show before this and I'm not shocked with her being in prison right now because I had a feeling those allegations were true.

Brandi: Then why put her on a song with me?

Rayna: Andy not gonna admit but it's production that forced my hand for a storyline.

Andy: I can't confirm or deny this.

Rayna: *smirk* #itwasntme

Andy: Amie is also not here because she has decided to completely erase her participation by not promoting or showing up for interviews regarding this show. She has also left multiple statements to TMZ saying this has damaged her business and wrecked her marriage. Dior, are you in contact with her still?

Dior: No, I am not in contact with her directly but she has spoken to my daughter LaToya couple times last summer. She has not mention anything about the show ever since she ''quit'' the show. I believe she didn't want leave the show but was forced by her ex husband's allegations.

Selenay: I actually have spoken to her one time after the show was wrapped and she has mention she wanted to remain in the show but production allegedly doesn't wanna erase footage of her marriage allegations so she decided to quit before they can use it against her.

Andy: Production has mentioned they did not talk to her about this topic and she willingly signed a letter saying she wants to quit when entering rehab. Production wasn't allowed to film her in the rehab and she has broken her NDA by not doing her commitments after leaving rehab. Due to that, she can't appear on this reunion as she's currently being sued by Bravo. 

Athena: It's a job in the end, if you don't fulfill your agreement then I solely agree with production's standpoint,

Brandi: I agree. I didn't want my past to be brought up nor did Athena but we didn't randomly quit and leave production hanging.

Athena: Agree with Brandi on this because we had to halt filming for a week. Did I want to show myself going into rehab? No. Did I want to show up drunk at Gina's launch? Of course not but it was my reality. 

Andy: Let's move on. Gina's engagement... anyone wanna jump in?

*Everyone waits for Brandi to answer* 

Brandi: I wholeheartedly apologized to Gina for that night. Amie was disgusting spitting on me during a fight and I reacted to that. I wish I can take back that moment.

Rayna: Yeah, I was disappointed in everyone that night. Athena and I were in shocked watching the episode. Selenay was so confused.

Selenay: I didn't know what was happening. It all happened too fast.

Andy: Selenay, were you surprised to be the last one remaining? 

Selenay: Not at all. I have a genuine friendship with Rayna. I have a new and close one with Dior. Brandi and Athena we are not close but we have heart to hearts so no Andy this is a real group of friends.

Dior: Absolutely.

Athena: Selenay is genuine and that's something the other two weren't.

Selenay: Thank you. 

Andy: Selenay, why did you decided to hide your surrogacy and finally mention in the finale?

Selenay: Andy, I'm a woman of a certain age and getting pregnant is difficult. We had 2 previous miscarriages right before production and I did mention it to the ladies but they knew respectfully to not mention anything. 

Brandi: We spoke off camera and when I heard her struggles, I had a weird feeling about mentioning my pregnancy's cause I was in the early stages and even though it was unplanned, it's still a very happy miracle. 

Selenay: I had a feeling she was before she told us cause Brandi is usually more animated and jovial, which is why I was a little bit like ''When are you going to mention?''

Brandi: I wasn't planning on keeping it a secret from you but I was being cautious cause it was still quite early.

Selenay: Looking back at it, I see your point.

Andy: Another housewife who kept a health secret is Dior. Dior, how are you doing this days?

Dior: I'm gonna clear this up for my fans here. I didn't intentionally keep it a secret from everyone. Selenay happen to contact me which is why she knew before anyone and Andy the ladies knew right after we wrapped Rayna's concert.

Rayna: Yeah she did mention after we stopped filming the finale.

Dior: Regarding the cancer, I don't have it thankfully but I will still be going for a preventive procedure in a couple days. 

Andy: Thank you Dior. Athena, this season is a triumph for you right?

Athena: Oh yes! Being sober has helped me this season and it has opened my eyes on my mistakes that I made while I was on my drinking binges. My relationship with my family has gotten stronger and my friendships here have been much more solid.

Brandi: I am proud of Athena cause I was there before this show and I knew our demons. Seeing her last year when I came back, I had a feeling something wasn't right but she wasn't ready to listen so that's why I overreacted.

Andy: Athena, was it easy for you to forgive Brandi after what allegations she made in Season1?

Athena: At first No. When I shot the reunion with you [footage of Season 1 Reunion Part 2 is shown] and Rayna we were still not in a good place which is why I baited Rayna in dropping bombs. It was solely my mistake for not speaking cause Brandi did try to call me numerous times.

Rayna: Yeah, that reunion was a mess. We were all not in a right headspace and we had a gang up mentality which was unfair to Brandi but we were protecting Dior and Athena wasn't there to defend herself.

Brandi: I understand their devotion to their friends but last reunion was a huge disappointment cause I was under the impression I had at least a friend in there.

Rayna: I know your mentioning me without saying my name and I am sorry I let things go out of hand.

Brandi: Thanks.

Andy: Selenay, did you tune in to Season 1?

Selenay: Not the full season but the ending yes. 

Andy: Were you surprised?

Selenay: Truthfully, yes because it was out of character for some of them but I also see why they were triggered. 

Brandi: I was pushed to my limit that's why that happened and I don't want to go in reverse with Dior but that's my truth.

Dior: You are entitled to your truth and the reunion was filmed 2 days after the finale so things were still way too hot and I just was disappointed in myself and I know Gina was too.

Rayna: We all were.

Brandi: Same.

Andy: Let's move on to Rayna. We actually have a 2 viewer questions and one of it is for you.

Rayna: Bring it on.

Andy: Ashley from Massachusetts asks ''Rayna, how was it performing in the finale and why was the concert hall half empty?''

Rayna: Performing is always the best, it's my way of expressing myself and your 2nd question's answer is Pandemic. We weren't allowed to have more than 50 guests in the 250 seating concert hall. We had at least 80 guests that night but 30 were in the hall that were the ladies, my close friends and family. The other 50 devoted fans were watching live footage at the restaurant. 

Selenay: Rayna did a great job and I was honored to dance with her.

Andy: Another viewer question is from Jake in Miami. Dior, was filming this season different from last even though both were during pandemics?

Dior: VERY. Last season, we could interact more but this time we were limited in places we could go to in terms of filming and also the amount of people we could invite for the projects and parties we did. One of my events wasn't on the show and fans did ask me why on Instagram.

Andy: Selenay, we know you had a previous show on another network was it any different? 

Selenay: I had previously done a show before this pandemic, this time filming restrictions and rules of filming is a lot more. We had Covid tests almost every 5 days. I couldn't even even invite my sister in of my scenes without her being tested too.

Andy: Speaking of covid, Brandi you had it early on this season.

Brandi: Yeah, one thing people don't know is when I had covid in the early episodes, I was also filming my stuff at home with my own equipment for confessionals which is why people have mention why is my sound quality really bad at times. 

Rayna: This season also we couldn't interact with fans or acquaintances if we met them @ like my former boutique or Brandi's baby shower. Even her shower, Athena had to make sure it was within a certain time frame and also limit the interactions.

Brandi: Athena had to make sure all my guests were tested and approved by the production just to appear that day.

Athena: Yeah it was beyond stressful but it was also a good thing in a way cause it brought us 5 much closer. 

Selenay: Agreed. We all got super close after The Hamptons trip cause we only had each other most of the time besides the crew and I was surprise with the new dynamics of the ladies. It was much more peaceful without the other 2 in the group. 

Andy: Speaking of surprised, Brandi's estranged relationship with Dior being repaired!

Brandi: *nods* That was something I was hoping would eventually work out but for Dior to accept the truce was the best part.

Dior: *smile* I knew going into the season, I didn't want to have drama with the ladies and I just wanted to have fun so repairing my friendships with Athena then Brandi was definitely one of my top priorities. 

Andy: That was great. We extended an invite to Gina to appear but she has some family things going on and she wasn't able to join. We wish her all the best. Brandi, any thing you want to say to her?

Brandi: *smile* Thank you for giving the apology and accepting mine. I wish you were here tonight and hopefully we will see you soon.

Rayna: We spoke last night and Gina sends her regards to all. 

Andy: Ladies, it was awesome getting together with all of you tonight and we hope to see more when Real Housewives of Nashville returns for Season 3! and also stay tuned for the preview episode of Rayna's new show 'Rayna's Got Talent' with Brandi's guest appearance!

Brandi: YAY!

Rayna: I'm so excited for this and I can't wait for y'all to watch!

Dior: Bye!
